Learning from Ministry of Jesus – 1

Hello, Audiences! Welcome to Return to God Forum. Our goal is for you to know the truth. Our messages are exact witnesses of scripture. If they fall on deaf ears, you have nobody else to blame. This is Episode 11. It is the beginning of a new Series, titled; “Called to the kingdom of God.” We will start with solving certain puzzles in the ministry of Jesus. It is an amazing learning experience.

My name is Dr. Danson Ubebe – Teacher and Author.

Our topic for today is: Puzzles; Jesus’ ministry – Part 1.

Our objective is: To focus our labor with Christ on the kingdom of God.

The Ministry of Jesus is to prepare man to know the pathway to heaven. So, Jesus focused His teaching and preaching on the kingdom of God. Why? The kingdom belongs to God. She is not among the things revealed; which belong to man (Deut. 29:29). The kingdom is new and is peculiar; different from the world known to man.

Additionally, the kingdom is everlasting. She is not about eating and drinking but; righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom. 14:17). Jesus promised to go and prepare a place; mansions, for those who believe and follow Him; for He is the way to the kingdom (John 14:1-6). God is the king and ruler of the kingdom. His authority is absolute.

Other authorities in and outside the kingdom are below His rank. For example; He is head of Christ, and Christ is head of man, and man is head of the woman (1Cor. 11:3). All things in the kingdom have spirit structure, and the realm is within you (Lk. 17:21). This is the outline of the kingdom revealed to man.

Emphasis: For an introduction, Jesus tailored His ministry to guide man to fit into the kingdom. It is a place where man’s effort is not required to get things done. For example, Jesus in the flesh needed a door to enter a closed room.

But after His resurrection, He could enter a closed room without entrance (John 20:19). So, only those who believe and abide in Jesus will receive from Him nutrients to produce fruit of repentance, agape love, and etc. (John 15:4-5), and to be like Christ (1John 3:2). Against desires for earthly things, let your labor produce fruit of the spirit as treasures you require to store in heaven (Mt .6:20-21).

As God is the absolute authority in the kingdom, so is His word the final authority on earth. So, it is unbelief to believe the imaginary opinion of man over His word. It is said that Christianity today is mostly run according to the opinion of man.

The faith of the new covenant. Abraham is the father of faith. It was based on blind belief. The law was our tutor to make us have faith acceptable to God (Gal. 3:24). What is the difference between faith under the old and new covenants? The things revealed, belong to man. They do not require faith to believe. For such things, scriptures fully clarify them.

For example, under the old covenant faith was based on Him for His wonders. In error, it was embraced in the new covenant. For example, in the eucharis. But eucharis belongs to man. So, how the bread and wine at eucharis are actually the body and blood of Jesus, does not require faith to believe. For the substance; the body, which is the ‘truth’ has been revealed.

We no more hope for the evidence of the things. According to scripture, Jesus is the truth (John 14:6). So, the bread and wine intake at eucharis represent the actual body and blood of Jesus respectively (John 6:53-56). But you need understanding. (View video of proof at http://youtube.com/c/returntogodforum – Title: Fake against Jesus built church; Episode 9). Jesus’ crucifixion ended His ministryIt climaxed the reign of sinful nature and unveiled the dawn of grace for our common, and daily salvation, and hope for everlasting life. So, the “cross of Jesus” is the object of faith in God under the new covenant.

But believers still carry about the born-again spirit who submits to God, and sealed by Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13-14), tied to the soul and body of flesh opposing the spirit (Rom. 7:14-25). This is the predicament of believers. Until the flesh submits to God for the devil to flee (James 4:7), there wouldn’t be a bodily born-again man like resurrected Christ from the dead (Col. 1:18).

Emphasis. Every message not comprehensively supported by the word of God is a lie. So, it is a lie to believe the bread and wine in-take at Lord Supper (eucharis) transform in turn to real body and blood of Christ – unexplainedIt is also not true eucharis is a mere ritual.

Unless you know the real rock, on which Jesus built His church, you cannot grasp the life of the Lord’s Supper. The message of the cross of Jesus and Him crucified (1Cor. 2:2) is the reason for our faith in God.

It is what guaranteed our total salvation. Wrong knowledge is like putting the wrong foot forward. It makes scripture be seen in a different light; which is unprofitable to a child of God. Instead, it leads to destruction (Mt. 7:13).

For example, if you do not know the basic knowledge of grace, of truth, of rock Jesus built His church, of the kingdom of God, of life of eucharis, and etc., of what use is your teaching and preaching? Regarding the predicament of believers, the overbearing lust of the flesh (soul and body) makes man to override godly desires by the spirit with selfish desires of the flesh in our hearts (Gal. 5:19-21) – DEMO VOICEOVER. It is your desire that makes you to do evil. It is neither God nor the devil (James 1:13-14).

Let’s examine; Model of three persons in one and the kingdom of God within man. As spoken by God, man is three persons in one (Gen. 1:27). These are: the spirit, soul, and body (1Thes. 5:23). How then is the kingdom within man as claimed before? The answer is in solving the puzzles: ‘Quote.’ “The kingdom of God is within you (Lk. 17:20-21).” And, “But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Mt. 10:28).” ‘Unquote.’

To explain the claim, God begot man. So, his heart was of the same kingdom of; righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost – the fruit of the Spirit of the light of God.

But sin separated our hearts from it (Is. 59:2). So, our hearts became deep darkness like the deep in the beginning (Is. 60:2). Now by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection, God restored the kingdom when He shone in our hearts to shine the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus (2Cor. 4:6). It means the kingdom of God is the manifestation of the fruit of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23).

It explains the statement that as Christ is, so are we who walk in this world according to the spirit (1John 4:17).

Also, to fear God is an affirmation of His utmost rank, and Jesus’ loyalty to Him. For Jesus came, not to kill, but to save man, as it is written (Mk. 2:13-17).

Only God has the power to forgive, or condemn who strays from His statues; like David, when he ate the showbread (Mt. 12:4).

Also, by sacrifice of Jesus, God forgave man the sins he committed before (Rom. 3:25). So, He was raised because of the justification His sacrifice once earned for humanity once too (Rom. 4:25).

EmphasisAs shown in the voiceover, the kingdom is expressed in the virtues of God, not in an environment (Lk. 17:20-21). Jesus did not come to create a new soul.

He lacked own power to do so. Whoever believes in Christ will be saved (Acts 16:31). Then he will be given the spirit of God (1John 4:13), who will receive one time sanctification, which resurrection of Jesus guaranteed for man. So, he walks daily according to the spirit and no longer according to the flesh (1Cor. 6:11). But the soul and body still struggle with flesh and require daily sanctification to walk in the spirit. It is sustained by the grace of God, which is the intercession of Christ for the saints (Rom. 8:34) – DEMO VOICEOVER. Only those who fear God and endure to the end shall escape His wrath (Mt. 24:13).

How do you explain the puzzles; Jesus came to save man (Mk. 2:13-17), yet he was crucified with Christ (Gal. 2:20), and who is the man God created in His image (Gen. 1:27)?  Every man was baptized into His death and resurrection (Rom. 6:3-11). For this purpose, God prepared the soul of Jesus as the second Adam (1Cor. 15: 42-9) for offering as sin sacrifice (Is. 53:10). He was made sin for sinners (2cor 5:21). John testified to this when he identified Him as the Lamb of God (John 1:29). So, it’s the soul of Jesus who died for His friend to be saved (John 15:13).

By it the soul God created was baptized into His death and resurrection. Both were raised together as born-again, similar to water baptism. But the man raised with and in Christ stands for humanity. Now each being is of the likeness and image of Adam (Gen. 5:3). So, he must first believe in Christ to be saved (Acts 16:31). Next, is to race to Him together with people of like mind, as living stones; being built up a spiritual house (1Pet. 2:5). God is a Spirit, so is the soul. Therefore, the soul is a spirit because his Maker is a Spirit (John 4:24). So, the man we regard as a spirit is the soul. That is, you are a soul; like the seed of grass which survives when the shoots wither.

Emphasis: Many are deceived to think the born-again spirit, which God gave at the moment they believed, made them born-again. So, they align with man’s opinion of the west that; “man is a spirit, he has a soul, and lives in a body.” Was it the spirit or soul who sinned and died? Check it out at (Ezek. 18:20-21).

So, who is the man God told not to eat the fruit (Gen. 2:17)? In real terms, each man of flesh is outside Christ. So, the righteousness of Christ was not ingrained in him when he believed, for he has a process to first go through – to work out the salvation of his soul (Phil. 2:12).

It is unlike the in-built sin in the seeds of Adam, for humanity was in his loins when he sinned. It was how he could multiply (Gen. 1:28). With the salvation of man’s soul, he will receive a crown of the righteousness of God (2Tim. 4:8). So, how are you the righteousness of God now, besides by faith? If it is by faith, it is a thing hoped for (Heb. 11:1).

Why do water baptism? We do water baptism to demonstrate rejection of the image of Adam (Gen. 5:3), and to embrace Jesus. The exercise is to complement our belief in Him, in our hearts. So, it involves both the inner and outer man. It is the forerunner to the baptism of man by Holy Spirit into the death, burier, and resurrection of Jesus (Rom. 6:3-13).

Emphasis. Water baptism is the public denial of the old way of life for a holy life. Jesus is our example (Mt. 3:15). To stand in water, depicts the decision we made in our hearts. Immersion; buries the past. Rise out of water signals choice to imitate Jesus, as He imitated God (John 5:19).
